I don’t quite get all the antipathy towards Onomah

We’d have been fucked without him. I thought he did well earlier in the season - including the home game v Fulham

Yeah, I agree. Some games have passed him by but that's always possibly going to happen with a kid his age. I think he's been alright.

I think Green would be a natural replacement for Adomah. Not sure who could come in for Jack. It would be interesting to see O'Hare given that role but I imagine that will be too bold for Bruce.
It'll be Onomah, probably; not someone I rate.

Such is the impact he's made, I had totally forgotten about him. He's shown glimpses but goes missing a lot of the time. Poor alternative to Jack.

I think Jack & Albert will be fit for this one. I can see changes in midfield as Fulham are very mobile & it might not suit The Jedi. I can see a change at right back, maybe bringing in Axel to keep Sessegnon quiet. He's their main threat & very quick.

We're going to have to defend a whole lot better than we did down there last year.

Their right back Fredericks is a right little fooker.

A good result will be a major statement.

UTV.

I don't understand the people who would be happy with a draw when we have two teams just one point behind us. People might be happy to know that I haven't put Villa in my championship acca but have backed Cardiff.

3-1 defeat. We're due one and they'll see this as their big chance to make a push for top two. Never seen us win down there either.
Not sure why you think 3-1? Yes we may lose but won't be a more than a goal in it and in any case I don't believe in this "we never win there" line.

I can only speak for myself.

I will be happy with a draw beacause:

1. I don't care two hoots who is in 2nd place this time tomorrow (it won't be Derby anyway as they have already played) I care who is 2nd at the end of the season.
2. IMO, tomorrow is our most difficult remaining game. We are not going to win the next 15 so the next best thing is not to lose.
3. Drawing tomorrow means Fulham remain 7 points behind us with a difficult run of games afterwards. There is every chance that they will be further behind (and effectively out of the race for 2nd) by the time that run ends.

Ideally, I would like to win every game 6-0 but will be happy with a 0-0 tomorrow.

If grealish is out there’s a very good case to play Grabban or Davis and not hogan

I just think that with hogan and Onomah (or anyone) up top we just won’t be able to get the ball up the pitch and sticking

Then keep hogan fresh for the Preston game

Could backfire but sometimes managers need to make brave choices

Not that I think Bruce will

It’s possibly our toughest remaining game, it’s away from home and we’ve got two of our best players injured

Brassneck, agree with your comments that 2nd at the end of the season is our aim. Matt Collins, if Jack is injured, why are you going to get rid of Hogan who is in great form? Fulham is a great game for him as they like to play football and he will hassle them from the front. Grabbon can apparently play out wide, Onomah is a good player, don't drop your best option of a goal surely

I’ll bet you a pound to a penny those two players start tomorrow.

We have not got two of our best players injured. Jack will start, not so sure re Albert if he has a hamstring. Maybe we will let him recover, doesn't seem serious. Question is,who plays there if Albert is out, Green for me

Green won't start. He played v Posh in the cup and has since disappeared.

Bjarni will start I think, him and Jedinak infront of the back 4 and then push Hourihane, Snodgrass and maybe Grabban behind Hogan if Adomah and Jack don't make it.

Fuck me, I hope not. I only get nervous now when I start to think Bruce as a tactician. Great motivator or group manager he may be but he's lost when it comes to playing players in their best position, nevermind tactics. It's like Alex McCleish all over again but in a lower division. It's not rocket science. You got it right bringing back Jedi last week but it doesn't make you Pep. Please don't fuck it all up again.
