Today needs renaming as the Jack Grealish Derby.  They tried and even stamped on him but he  was outstanding.

I have waited a long time for Villa, England (rugby) and Gloucester to win on the same weekend. For it to happen when we beat Blues to go second is the whatever goes on the cherry on the icing on the cake.

I’m with you there Mike, Gloucester city won too to complete the set for me.

Evesham Exiles.

They’re gradually getting further away from home

Remember the Sports presenter on Sky News called Chris Skudder?

This is what he tweeted after the game...

That's always their fall back option after a defeat, we all live in the shires (and Erdington) and have our Butlers inform us of the result.

My daughter has  special needs, so we were ok going into the ground. At the end of the game, we came across the same steward, whom knows my daughter. We were confronted by this woman whom was questiong my daughters disability. I noticed an id tag around her neck....sky fucking sports!!!

This bitch was telling the steward and every one else. She WAS THE BOSS!!!

It worked out well, since she wa surprised at my language, and suddenly bent. Complaint going to the club, since when do sky sports decide whom has a disability and not. White man drives over a Muslim....terrorist. Kids in Manchester slaughtered...mental illness. I fUCKING HATE SKY!!!!

Is this "you never see them in town" nonsense based on us not being like them, in that they're easily identifiable because you can fucking guarantee that all of them, be it jewellery, attire, phone case, all of them, somewhere about their person have got that bollocks bollocks on show, whereas we look like, well, just people?

It all stems from them drinking in pubs around Digbeth and never seeing any of us around there apparently even though of course their ground is right on the doorstep there.

Even from thousands of miles away, a full and rocking Villa Park is a glorious sight to behold. Worth the 4am start to watch along.

Think you’ve got that the wrong way round mate. Mental illness is trotted out for white terrorists much more quickly and often than it is for Islamist ones.

I also lost my Dad this week. He wasn’t a Villa fan or really into Football at all but he always took an interest in my various rants and raves about the Villa with a wry smile. I thought of him today as me and my son celebrated knowing he’d have had a suitable little knowing smile and a cheeky comment to keep me from getting carried away. I put that down to his Yorkshire heritage. Great win today, super performance by the whole team with Jack absolutely superb.

Up the Villa!

Sincere condolences to all your family and friends.  I hope today went some small way to easing your pain and sense of loss.
