Their team and fans were the worst to come to VP this season,  Burton made more noise and had fewer empty seats, probably the same amount of coaches as well.

Fannies.
I don't think their team was the worst  team at VP this season. It's just that we were exceptionally good today and made them look awful.

Terry was very good in the Ndoye incident saving Jedinak from a red card.

Good point Olly. Jedinak could have easily gone for that but Terry quickly changed the focus and got N'doye sent off.

They were worse in last season's game at VP.

Couple of comments from one of their shitty little forums.

"No class, no intelligence, no nothing. How dare they claim to be Brummies"  ;D

Yes, we should have thrown things at their players (no class)... supplied by the club (no intelligence)... while on international TV (no nothing, whatever that means). He has a point about being Brummies, after all, Aston (Manor) was only integrated into Birmingham in 1911 - a fact I am sure he knew.

Mile Jedinak was immense today - probably because he remembered how the classy, dare I say intelligent, stadium announcer at St A mispronounced his name. Comfortable win.

Jedinak had a great game and although Bjarnason probably felt hard done by, it proved a good decision. It was very noticeable that he left the field well ahead of the others whilst they celebrated - poor form.

Very strange behavior. He really didn't hang around, not even a handshake. He was the first player off the pitch from either side.
It was very cold and he can't handle that as he lives in a thermal fountain at home.

Have to say as an old git that was the most enjoyable Villa Park experience in some years. Was in the north stand upper and thought the fans were up from it from the very start and so were the players. I wasn't happy with the decision to put Jedinak in ahead of BB, but the manager was proved totally right (not sure BB thought so, did anyone else notice how quickly he left the field at the end?) Jack just outdone Jedi for me as MOTM, what a talent he is and he must be buzzing right now. Really thought Hogan worked his nuts off, we were talking in car on way back where Jonny Kodjia would fit in team. Saw the picture of the manager after the first goal. I have criticised him at times, but he always said he wanted to build his team round Jack, and he is doing just that. He must be in bits after the last couple of weeks and his Dad will be really proud of him tonight. So looking forward to Fulham already

Well based on performance on the day Norwich, Sunderland and Bristol City.

Did anyone else notice the ref thanking JT for his actions

Who's goal was better? Conor's today, or Snodgrass' against Sheffield Utd?

I think I'd go with Snodgrass', as it was a winner of a game that we could have easily lost.

But a goal is a goal  :D and both were crackers

Snoddy's goal every time. Both were excellent but Snoddy's was not just critical as a match winner but was a sublime piece of skill.
