Another of those typical you know Villa games.  Everything points to an easy afternoon of 3-0.  But a Darren Bent line lead Burton might make it uncomfortable for us.  2-1.

We’ve won 5 straight and such is their desperation they signed a very has been Darren Bent. I have no doubt if we were a porous defence and in poor form any striker would be a concern. But we’ve also only conceded once in those 5 games. Being cautious is fine but we really should be winning this comfortably.

I wish people would just agree with kippax. Like playing with an ouija board going on about how crap and old Bent is now.

Burton have also conceded 12 goals in their last three games. No surprise that they are all defeats. They’ve scored 22 league goals all season, only the useless Noses have scored less at 19. They’ve conceded 55 times.

We get ahead, take the pressure off and they will open up in trying to get back into it.

I do hope the manager says more about our positives than the goals they conceded Toronto Villa.

The manager should be concentrating on many things. I’m just pointing out that they are not a good side and for many reasons we should win this game if we apply ourselves correctly.

I was thinking about over complacency  but suspect that will not happen. I would rather the manager saying what a good team we are, do you want to make these fans proud of you etc? Not just say they are a poor team, just beat them

Why the bollocks is anyone - anyone at all - worrying about playing the bottom of the table team at home? Our only worry should be whether the scoreboard will have enough room to put all the goals up.

Same team to play. Do not change a winning team thing. I just want Terry to score as I have a bet he will score more goals than gabby. 3-0 Hogan-Grealish-Terry .....

I’d like to see us go for the throat in the first 15 minutes as an early goal will see them fold, if we go into the second half all square I can see the big crowd getting edgy.

3-0
