I only became aware of Grabban when he came to VP with Blunderland earlier this season. Then, I noted his incessant off-the-ball running and the way he kept splitting the CB. Since he joined us, I also see that he gives the CB. A really physically tough time; not an easy man to play against.

Dare I say it he appears to be settled and really enjoying his time here. Long may it continue. I'm conscious that Sunderland fans took to him initially and then it all went sour despite him scoring so many goals for them. I'd love to really know what went on up there.

Looks to me like a player good enough to play in the top flight. If he keeps this up we should look to sign him permanently if we go up and another loan if we don’t. I doubt he would cost much either.

Stan had his issues, but when he was on it, he could make his own goals out of nothing. And dribble the length of the pitch doing so.

He's closer to a Vassell-type - or what Gabby could have been with a bit of hunger and nous- a nuisance of a player who can work the channels and free up a bit of space for others to exploit. He seems to anticipate where the ball will break far better than that pair too. Which is odd, considering they both gained international recognition. 

He also has a bit of a nasty streak in him and seems to enjoy a spat with the opposition centre half. Which is no bad thing.

Hogan has looked more confident recently. But if he ain't scoring, he ain't really doing much else.

I'm not sure I'd read into anything that went on at Sunderland, they're loong past the 'sour' stage and I think any player would struggle in that toxic atmosphere. Amazing he managed to get the goals he did!

The way he executed the goal on Saturday was top flight stuff. And I also don’t want to worry too much about his tenure at Sunderland because as we found out when you are shit everything turns that way. He is now in a successful set up. However more important question is why didn’t he establish himself at Bmouth?

I said exactly the same to my dad on Saturday.  He bullies defenders and runs the channels like Stan did though.  On a good day!
