The most ridiculous one on that list is Sessegnon... he was born this century and he's not even a forward! Annoying that nobody bought him in January or I think Fulham would be out of the race.

Very pleased with Grabban. Be nice if we could have the top scorer in the division. When did that last happen?

When I first heard of Sessegnon at Fulham , I assumed it was the old baggies player and wasnt that bothered , he wont keep scoring those goals I thought , hes getting on a bit . took me a few mths to realise it was a 17 year old wonder kid .

If I was Southgate , I would throw him in the world cup squad

I think he’s related to the former Baggies player, his nephew maybe.

And Bobby Reid plays for Bristol City.

Anyone know how much he'd cost for a permanent signing?

Surely not as much as Hogan/McCormack? If the worst happens and we stay down, he's our starting striker next season.

Re-assess if we go up of course.

There's obviously a character issue there.  Doesn't get on with Bournemouth, didn't want to play for Sunderland etc.  I've been pleased with him and he has done well, but I'd be cautious about signing someone like him on a permanent deal.

That's a fair point, but hopefully it might just be a case of right cub, right time.  In any case, if he scores the goals that help get us up, that'll do to start with.  We can worry about the rest in the summer.

I'll bear with you on that one.

I agree. The world and its uncle knows he is a very talented player, but he is prone to get the hump.

I was right at the front of the Holte for the game against PNE for the first time since we beat Cardiff at Christmas under The Doc.  From the moment the ref gave the penalty right through all the ridiculous melodrama of their protests, he was pissing himself laughing.

I would class him as what we used to call a maverick.

A proper centre forward. Stronger, fast and a natural instinct for his position.
