Very surprised Grealish isn't in. He was lively in his cameo the other night.

I think we will win. It will be convincing too.

Honestly have a feeling it could be four.

4-0 Villa.

Shows how bad ‘Mad’ Tommy Elphick and Micah Richards are when playing a midfielder out of position at centre half is preferred to selecting one of them.

I’d like to have seen Whelan and Davis rested but there’s no real alternatives in their positions

Samba fatigue I guess, Elphick must be on his way January.
You would hope he has worked on a way of playing without Davis, I would not bet on it.

No surprise to see Samba given a break but Bruce really should have made changes further up the pitch aswell. Grealish and Lansbury were surely options to start today.

He doesn’t like changing a winning team.

He really should be in, I think. Maybe Bruce has promised games to Onomah as part of his loan.

Evidently, wrong decision though based on the evidence of the last 20 mins on Tues night. We have one of the biggest squads in the league, home games v Ipswich shoukd be ideal for giving Grealish a start.

The defence has already been disrupted with Terry's injury, now he's disrupting it more with a new face playing out of position.  Risky for me.  My only guess about Grealish is he's still not quite fit.  I would hope that if we have a slow start he gets at least 40-50 minutes today.
