It's not good viewing - I'd take only being 0-2 down at HT if you offered it to me now.

We need to give Snodgrass some support, he just gets isolated and has no option but to run down blind alleys.

Hogan needs to get in the game. He's completely invisible. He is offering no outlet nor is he creating space for those in behind him. Inexcusable.

It could be worse Blackburn have just gone behind to Barnet at home.

Ellmo and Snodgrass starting to look frustrated at the lack of options.

The optimist in me says it's now set up for a Grealish-inspired comeback story

This sort of game is one where Bruce has to earn his wages and get Villa back in the game, but I think he's not an inspirational enough character

Before the match someone on the TV said Wednesday's manager called Villa the best club in the division. His tactic worked

The game plan Bruce would have had was tossed in the bin as soon as they scored. We’re not a side that does well chasing the game.

JT will have to be taken off soon. Oh dear. Hope it's not one of those days where everything unravels.

Sorry to quote myself, I'm just wishing I hadn't said it now Snodgrass in fucking injured too

I don't understand why the formation was changed after being so dominant in midweek?

Is it not patently obvious now that Whelan struggles in a 2 man midfield? Jedinak for Onomah should have been the change.

Or with losing our best central defender pairing and replaced by Samba,a cue for more goals i think and not by Villa
