Hoof, lose the ball. Hoof, lose the ball.

Come on Bruce, we have some decent players.

Well that was pretty ordinary. No flow at all we just play hoof ball and rarely win the second ball. Blose probably looked the slightly better of 2 shit teams.

Oh and the atmosphere sounds crap aswell.

The atmosphere might have actually been better if that lot had kept hold of there happy clappy toy things. I'm guessing they gave up when they either couldn't read the instructions or couldn't work it out as there weren't any.

That was dreadful.

Get Whelan off for Davis and go for it. Small Heath are shit.

Kodija went missing in this fixture last season once he'd been clattered.  This time round he hasn't waited.  Mind you, much the same could be said for a number of others.

Whelan looks every minute of his age out there.

I’m doing my best not to criticise Bruce every game but for the majority we play awful under him considering the squad we have. Dinosaur manager playing dinosaur football. Surely can’t be as bad in the second half?

As expected it's a bit shit on quality. We need to start passing better in the second half.

I thought Whelan started poorly but then got better

We've started playing very directly and it's not suiting Kodjia or Onomah

We either need to change that tactic or get Davis on

The first 10-15 minutes were alright.

The next 30 we spent lumping it long. What's the point in that? This squad is 10x as good as theirs, but we are getting dragged down to their level, and Bruce is making that happen.

That was poor from us. Hardly any attacking presence.

We've come for the draw.

It's sad isn't it.

We started off ok but have let it become a battle. We are too slow in midfield for their pressing game. I think we need Davis on for his hold up play, players will get around him.

Probably a good call

Spot on assessment.  Started pretty well but then haven't competed after that.  Kodjia getting bullied again by their centre halves, though the ref is letting them get away with quite a bit.  We just look slow and lethargic, summed up by Johnstone's near mishap.
