I had a dream last night that we beat Forest 5-0 and followed it up with a 6-1 win at Burton. Bruce just deliver my dream that is all I ask.

Funnily enough I dreamt the other night we got proper stuffed, 8-0 and I woke up with dread about going to work before realising it was only a dream.

I wonder who's dream is more likely? Yours I bloody well hope!

2-1 Villa. Keane for them, Big Cyrille will equalise with a great lob and then God will appear up in the clouds to head home the winner to send Mr Green Jumper home pointless

Well I have no idea about the likely result- haven’t seen us play this season as we can’t get the championship in aus any more. I’m guessing a draw.bruce has heaped the pressure on the players though after the cup exit. If we lose and fail to win the following game, his job will be hanging by a very thin thread.

Wins are what will buy you time Steve.

A thumping 5-0 win. Goals for Kodjia x2, Chester, Elmo and Terry. But then I've taken a little extra medication to get me through my night shift.

What do you take? I could do with some for my upcoming night shifts.  ;)

I can't imagine Villa ever scoring five goals in a season, sorry match, ever again.

Zappin, it's great. Now I'm not medicated up, just slightly hungover my prediction has changed. 6-0, throw an own goal in as well.

It's worth a punt at 125/1, the promotion march starts today.

Yeah that'd be nice. These are two more must win games.

4-1 it is.

I'll go with that, fancy us to stroll this.

Sometimes you get these feelings and when you rule out needing the toilet you back your hunch.

I'm really looking forward to the game. Tuesday and all its meh has not dampened any enthusiasm. We are at a pivotal moment.

We will look back at today as our anti-Leicester moment. Battering these funny sounding East Midlands bumpkins will be the game we realise Barnsley wasn't a blip and the Dreadnaught that is Aston Villa gathers unstoppable momentum.

Or maybe I did just need a wizz.

I don't know too much about Forest this season although somebody else earlier in this thread said they'd made a good start but they're only 2 points ahead of us and they've lost 4 already. This is the type of game we need to be winning if we want to be up there. I'll go 2-1, Kodjia and Adomah with another penalty.

We had a very good home record against a very good Forest side around that time (not so much at their place). I remember being at the game and could have told you our scorers but I wouldn't have remembered their scorer. I wonder whatever became of him.

They're defensively poor and particularly weak at the seat piece.

Aston Villa's brave John Terry to score.

When I was at University in Nottingham they had the crappest quietest fans ever. They will have nothing to sing about today.

Chester is due one as well, he's not scored this season yet either.
