I've put my money on a draw. We might sneak a win, as we are due one and Barnsley are very poor. Either way the pain of Bruce will continue for yet another week.

Barnsley have won four home games in all competitions so far. Let's hope they are "very poor" today.

0-0 draw is my bet guess.

We might be boring but Barnsley aren't. There will be goals.

Surely the law of the ex means Hourihane spanks in a 25 trader today?

We should ask Barnsley to coach Hourihane and Bree while they are there. They seemed to play better when Villa hadn't coached them!

You're right. "Very poor" was wildly incorrect. I think I was getting them mixed up with Brentford.

As a 2nd division club they are, like us, average. Were capable of pulling of a draw or sneaky win though.

I'd love to see Bruce go 'all in' this afternoon & stick Kod in the starting 11, but I've a feeling that he'll be on the bench & thrown on with 20 minutes left: as we chase a game that's effectively over. I can but live in hope.  :(

Kodj will play from the beginning. This result is all or nothing for Mr. Bruce so he will sacrifice all to delay the hangman's noose.

It's 130 anniversary for Barnsley this week so there'll be an atmosphere to fight against. 'We have lots in store for Reds fans as we look to commemorate this momentous occasion, and we can now reveal that a host of former heroes will be attending the fixture as guests of Barnsley Football Club. '

Have made it as far as Sheffield. Got distracted by a pub. Full of Narwich.
