I think we're gonna sneak a win. Don't ask me why but if things are going to turn around then this is the game for me.

After the bollocks he's been spouting in the press he must be confident of a reaction from the players or he's going to look a bit of a tit.

I said a draw, wouldn't be surprised with a loss, but I have a feeling Bruce will grind out an unexpected away win and we'll be stuck with the clueless one for another few weeks in the "crap managers at Villa Park not-so-merry-go-round".

Barnsley is usually a tricky game for the better teams in the league (although very debatable whether we're classed as one!)Just seen as relegation battlers but they attack well as a team and can score goals.

I have a feeling we'll sneak a win, similar to Reading last season. 1-2.

I hope we win but am also pleased that I will be on a plane and thus unable to follow the likely horrendous, dour shitfest of a game. Cue us probably sticking 8 past them and then going on at least a 5 match losing streak.

Villa never win when I watch a match (and it is on ESPN3) - so I promise I'll spend the whole time out back cleaning our patio.

Fuck the fuckers!

Ok. Your patio had better be pristine by the time The Villa win whatever - nil.

Once again, I'm signed up to go to one of those defining away games in the North - Wigan away effectively did for TSM, Preston away did for RDM and now Barnsley away will almost certainly do for PTH (Potatohead).

... and, it's a day for getting behind the club and the team, not the manager.
I have never sung his name except in mockery as an opposition manager, and I certainly will not be starting today.

Yep little ale trail across from Manc to Barnsley today so a good day should be had until its ruined by the football.
