Bruce -

“It’s a good time for us to respond after a frustrating performance.

“The first thing you need is an energy – a physical output – to make sure the crowd go with you.

The start of each new match is when Villa fans rally behind you. Dont throw that goodwill away again. Good luck Steve.

Adama and Downing both start for them.

It's bound to happen, isn't it?

Yup, Custer's last stand comes to mind.

Could certainly be Bruce's

Chatting with my Mrs in Uganda. She's slowly converting to the fold despite being a default glory hunter (manure) and now referring to the 'family team' which is good.
I was letting her know we are close to firing another manager. Asks why, and comments didn't you say they've been pretty rubbish all her life (not quite true, but I do often mention to people the Halcyon Days of my early 80s childhood and how it's been pretty downhill since then).

Of interest she was saying the Uganda Cranes were most successful under Idi Amin when apparently they had to win to avoid getting caned.
Desperate times?!

There's a team in Uganda named after us in 1982. You too can play guess-which-club-went-on-to-win-everything?

Premier League winners: 1982, 1984, 1986, 1987, 1988, 1989, 1990, 1992, 1994, 1998, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004
Cup winners: 1983, 1986, 1988, 1989, 1998, 2000, 2002, 2009,2015

Great name for a training ground!

Look on the bright side.  The Icelandic Platt trying to mark Traore would make a really good Christmas video for the screens.  Son of Secret Santa it could be billed.  Bjorn wearing a red suit Adama with reindeer antlers.  I would watch it.
