Jesus. Under the cosh from Reading. Bruce sodding out. Even if we manage to win by squeaking a goal by a miracle. The guy needs to go.

Still, the half time cocoa and a nap should help.

Here's a stat from Twitter, not sure if it's entirely correct of course:

Passes made:

Reading 246
Villa 23

23 passes in 45 minutes.

That should be room for dismissal

Almost reached the heady level of 'average' in the last 5 mins

I'd have said mediocre personally.  They're still a couple of levels away from average.

We'll file that half with the many others in the absolute shite section.

You're all being a little unfair...I've seen a number of quality back-passes from the halfway line   :-[

It's not actually true. I think they've confused the stats for our long passes with the figure for all our passes.

Thoughts from the away end.
First 15 we were solid, 1 shot on target, then Reading had a good spell 4 or 5 corners in quick time and a few good chances. We are defending way too deep already, 11 behind the ball at a corner for fucks sake.
Bjarnasson is a liability and gets muscled off the ball like an U14B player.
Something needs to change second half.
