I meant to ask, how is a user called abbeyfealeavfc a galway fan? Have you been banished to the South?

My father was from Galway and he would have loved today's final. I know the County well and still have connections up that way.
Banished? Never!

A girl Mrs S trained with is from the Abbeyfeale/Newcastlewest area.  The only time in my life that I was best man at a wedding was at hers and her husband's with whom I'd become good friends with, total guest list...eight!

Gaillimh abú! Always support Galway if they're in Croker (unless they're playing the Rossies) and we haven't forgiven Kerry for '46, '62 and '80. Think Kerry will win it but hope I'm wrong.

Galway missing the free-in from the side line a couple of minutes from the end of normal time turned out to be crucial.  Kerry were never going to lose after that.  Galway were so much better than I expected them to be, a great final, pity Sam ain't coming West.

It's a shame that one of Shane Walsh and Clifford had to end up on the losing side.

Agreed, good final but it just felt like a game Kerry would win eventually as Galway never built up a commanding lead.

O'Shea, the Cliffords and Spillanes are all pretty young so this Kerry team might have a few All-Irelands in it. However Galway also have a young team (apart from Conroy) and won the Minor championship this year so may get other chances to bring Sam back to the West.

Good final! Well done to Kerry! Galway gave it a good go!
Shane Walsh was excellent, maybe the momentum might have swung Galway's way had his touchline free not gone wide in added time.
Kerry's subs (Spillanes) made a huge difference.

BBC agree to broadcast more GAA games for the next 5 years. https://www.bbc.com/sport/gaelic-games/63377924

If I described his behaviour as Cat, said that his victims might sing the chorus of 'Panic' by The Smiths if they support capital punishment, and that one of his siblings has form for this sort of thing, would that help?

Sorry BV I don't care a lot about GAA so I have no clue, you're going to have to spell it out to me.  I have no interest even though yesterday I was at the wedding of former Galway All-Ireland hurler Aidan Harte.
