Cork beat Kerry. The big result Laois beat Longford and move on to beat to beat Dublin in the Leinster semi. 😁👍☘️

Very disappointing performance from the Rossies but Mayo the better team on the day. Great to see Cork beat Kerry for a change but makes Dublin winning it more likely. :(

In other news the Queen's County won which should please Liz II. ;)

Cavan win Ulster for the first time in 23 years against the red-hot favourites Donegal.

Even better, Tipperary in a retro kit sporting the same colours as they wore on Bloody Sunday beat Cork to win their first Munster Championship since 1935.

Brilliant day of GAA, as Fergie said "Gaelic Football, bloody hell."

On top of that, it's the same 4 semi-finalists as it was 100 years ago, quite remarkable.

Heard that earlier which is really remarkable given Cavan and Tipp's recent records. Sadly, can't see Tipp beating Dublin in this year's final. If that does happen then there are definitely 'otherworldly' factors at play. :)

Surely it's got to be Mayo's year, hasn't it?

Don't be daft, there's still a member of the '51 team alive.

Think it's Limerick's year in the hurling. I'll be rooting for Galway as usual though wouldn't mind Limerick or Waterford (they've been waiting almost as long for Liam as we have for the FA Cup) winning it.

Mayo in the football, Galway in the hurling would be the perfect double for me.

Well done Limerick (that will please the wife) unlucky Galway!
Hope Canning is ok.
A good game with both teams playing well.

What was the final score?  Mayo were winning by 16 points last time I looked.  It just goes to show what a farce the 'back door' is, neither Tipperary or Cavan would have been anywhere near the semi-finals if not for the abandonment of the 'back door' due to Covid.
