The Hawthorns game was the legendary Celtic Vigo in 2000.

I remember that one. The refeering was shambolic and that's being kind.

They had some great players in that era: Mostovoi, McCarthy, Makelele. Lovely team to watch

Villa were less pleasing on the eye despite being a solid team

They were an earlier version, and routed us at Villa Park after we'd come back from their place with a lead, 98 I think.

Why isn't there a station by the ground FFS?

There wouldn't be enough use for a station but not having buses to the town centre is ridiculous.

There was a double decker bus at the back of their main stand after the game but getting a taxi was impossible if you didn't book one 3 hours beforehand.
