The goal for Chelsea was the best thing for this game. Otherwise despite spending billions Mourinho the boring fuck would have done everything possible to pinch this 1-0 late or on penalties.

He's exactly what Allardyce would be like if he was manager there. Negative percentage crap despite spending hundreds of millions.

Yep. Replace Allardyce with Moyes. The architect of the famous 4-6-0. He’s have found a way to do exactly as you’ve described.

Chelsea winning yet another trophy would get on my tits, especially as they'd move ahead of us to 8 wins. However at least it would be misery for The Moaning One and his negative football and the Manc fans.

I didn’t know that about the Chelsea trophy count. Knowing that, I think I’d prefer May Utd. Though really, who cares!

They're also level with us on League Cups, one behind on titles.

Choosing who you want to win out of this pair is like deciding if you'd rather drown or burn to death.

The more I think about the penalty, the more it reminds me of our League Cup final. I need to relax and think good things...another beer please!

Where’s the option for Villa winning more league titles and FA Cup trophies?

Speaking of boring fucks. I fully expect Michael Owen to come on at some point and score the winner. Wanker.

I’m trying to forget our League Cup final with Man Utd, this doesn’t help. Arguably that game changed when Owen went off injured and Rooney came on (1st half I seem to recall).

Yep. No doubt if he was available today he’d score and not last the game.

There is absolutely no need for Hazzard to be a cheating ****** like that.

To be fair to Jones, he could have (possibly even should have) brought down Hazard way outside the area, and chose not to.  So when he made the tackle (eventually), it was made as his best effort to get the ball.  Also, by delaying any shot at goal as he did, it seemed to me that Hazard was playing to draw a foul from Jones, and thereby get him sent off.  So good refereeing, I think.

Otherwise, the quality of this game (50 minutes in) is pretty dire.

Standard of play apart from Hazard is pretty shite considering how much both sides cost.
