Re their kop end, I couldn't believe how small it was when I was in there for the European championships X number of years ago. My vote is that anything L'pool can f-ck off!

Standing at the Anfield Road end in the '70s, it was hard to understand the media b******* about them being the 'friendliest' supporters.

1977
i was there. Mayhem.

I was 15 shitting my pants and thinking please don’t score Andy think of the fans
I was there too with my brother and we parked our car adjacent  to Goodison - we walked across Stanley Park after the game - can't remember anything out of the ordinary happening on the day -  having said that fighting was common place at most grounds or nearby at that time
I was chased  across Stanley Park on a previous visit - two carloads of us were playing footy on the park when a  few young kids asked if they could join in - we were having a..great time but none of us noticed one of the scrotes sneak off to get reinforcements  - after a few minutes it looked like half of Liverpool were running down the hill towards us - it was like a scene from Zulu:)
We just kicked the ball towards them and ran like ####!
We lived to tell the  tale

there was a whole bit in Danny Browns hooligan book ‘Villain’s’ about that 77 match
it was a bit surreal reading about it

I don’t recognize this Christian Benteke. A very pale shadow of a once fearsome footballer.

Hopefully today sees the laying to rest once and for all of the myth that Paul Lambert was a good Manager, cruelly let down by beastly Aston Villa.

Paul Lambert showed all of his managerial skill in the way he handled the second half.
What an absolute shyster.
We go again Paul?
No I don’t think so.
