I note with interest the complete lack of interest in the scores this afternoon.

I was interested. I had a nice little treble come up on Peterborough, Shrewsbury and Southend.

It's a Bank Holiday, people are off work with their families and maybe not glued to a football forum.

I was 'shooting hoops' in the back garden with my youngest daughter like a scene from an American TV show. But she whooped my ass so I came back in to glue myself to a football forum.

Watching the beginning of the Blades vs Cardiff game ... like watching paint dry. The standard in this league really isn't up to much, is it?

It's so frustrating to see how limited Cardiff are but do so much better than us.

Just like we always score in the 88th minute when we are 2-0 down, so the gods can torment us with false hope, you watch Cardiff and Fulham lose a couple of games now.

It's not even nearly back on, but nice to see them go behind for once. Few things are more demoralising than seeing the teams above clean up week after week. We're still shit though... which is a lot more demoralising really
