I hope the Open Top Bus is booked
We're not Birmingham City. They'd be dining off this fucker for 50 years.

We seem to like beating German teams in finals.

We a bit happier after these friendlies?

I only watched the Hertha game. The commitment is there. Bloody hell, for a friendly we were taking no prisoners. Still not sure what we're trying to do other than get in their faces and improve fitness.

The trophy was a bit naff. It was the kind of thing Jossy's Giants would have won.

Can't see it making "The" cabinet.

I fel a lot more positive after this weekend. Positives for me are Hogan looking sharp, Terry's leadership, Samba looking good and scoring - with good deliveries from corners he and Terry will be real threats and Callum O'Hare impressing yesterday. And Elmo looked really good down the right wing.

What was especially good today was seeing us playing through the midfield instead of hoofing it.

I wonder if they'll leave it at the airport. Great to see the lads having a laugh though.

Just watched the MSV game on Playback.  Although he didn't have a great deal to do Terry seems to give us real calmness and assurance at the back.  He looks up for it and seems to fit in. I'm starting to think this will turn out to have been a great bit of business and suspect the season ticket ripper uppers will come round to him soon enough

I liked the way Samba celebrated his goal with a simple fist pump.  I felt that it meant something to him.

McKirdy looks a grumpy fucker, and I like grumpy in my footballers, to me, it shows they're committed and don't like losing.

I think the trophy is made of polystyrene, it must be because if it isn't nobody would be able to lift it.  Either that or Balsa wood.

Well that was an enjoyable 90 minutes of football.

Didn't see the game but according to one of my betting apps it was 40 minutes per half?

We played 2 matches, 45 minutes each.

Are there sweeties and skittles in the column of the trophy? Looks epic.
