Motm Hayes and he's been on 5 mins.  He needs re-educating.

Green, Bree and Taylor haven't really created much. I know Lansbury and Hourihane were on the pitch at one point. Amavi has been a willing trier but we just have no cohesion in the opposition half.

We really are a slow and boring side watch.

Can anybody (admittedly based on meaningless friendlies) advance an argument for us to finish top ten next season never mind top two?

At least Ross is on to inject some much needed pace into the side.

I know I can't. I really can't see any difference in the slow ponderous, unimaginative dross that we've had for the last few seasons.

Total absence of goal threat.
All pretty depressing.

Samba looked okay - with Chester behind him and Terry, a back three might just work.

It's been that poor second half I've been counting the lorries going passed on the M6 whenever the camera is pointing at the away end.
