The basics of passing, set pieces and movement seem to elude this squad. Outgunned by Shrewsbury; out passed by Walsall. So far.
It's a bit pathetic, really.

Our midfield lacks a bit of finesse. Lansbury had the chance to bring the ball down there but just succeed in hoofing cross-field.

The midfield positioning looks poor all the time. No link up play, no supporting runs.

I agree. I like the look of him as well.
However, in our team he'd be made to play a holding midfielder.
