Ridiculous to make any conclusions based on 45 mins against these teams, but what the heck:

Green has been the standout along with amavi. It will be such a shame if the formation means we don't see much of him, or if he has to wait behind gabby (who's done nowt)

Hogan has looked reasonably sharp

Tshibola has quick feet and has looked quite good

Hutton played one great pass but otherwise has done his thing: run head down until he either runs into an oppo player or passes / crosses to one

Gardner just isn't good enough - I'd rather give Tshibola a chance

Managed to misss both goals

For the first friendly of the season, the team at Kiddy have put effort in, particularly Ross. Defence has been pretty awful.

Not to dignify them with a mention but what the heck. How sad is it you get Blue Noses and Newcastle fans coming and watching Villa pre season games? I mean I know they are obsessed but thats VERY strange. I cant imagine giving a shit about their games outside of when they play us, friendly or otherwise. Sad boys.

I did think that myself - I wouldn't even have known they had a pre-season game on in the first place...

Good run by O'Hare. He looks promising.

And three-nil at Telford. Gabby. Always raises his game for the big derby showdowns.

3-0 at Telford Gabby - was just about to say O'Hare looks like he has something about him.

In the live chat at the side of the youtube videos there are just some Geordies and SHA commentors going on and on. One particularly lovely Newcastle fellow named Bert decided to sign off with "hope you look forward to your daughters being raped by Muslims" for some reason.

Who is our number 16 at Telford? Has Baker come back on? I can't even remember which match he was substituted in.
