Another miserable season comes to an end. I hope for a spark, something to send us into the summer believing that our success is just around the corner, something like a Hogan brace or a dominant performance. Alas I fear the deck chairs are already out. Lose lose tomorrow. Win and it's likely that the barcodes win the league, we'll never hear the end of that. Lose, well, that's just shit.

I honestly couldn't care less. Hopefully Brighton win the League and the sight of them celebrating on our pitch kicks a spark on our club.

Deano, I was going to see Leslie Nielson that day but I got lost in Shirley.  I am going for a Villa win for no other reason than I am fed up with reality.

We have never lost a 12 o'clock kick off game😟

Is that right mate? What a random fact. I'd be dreading it if Lambert was still in charge.

B-lose 04/05?
Oh ok we have never lost a 12 o'clock kick off match when I have been watching in the ground.

Yes, but are you watching in the ground today?

I'll be there today and we've never lost on a Sunday against Brighton when I've driven from Wakefield and had to buy petrol from Sainsbury' s beforehand and had three poached eggs for breakfast without going to the allotment to water first.

So we can't lose.

1-1

Nor when I was wearing an oatmeal coloured Craghopper shirt.

So maybe 2-1 Villa win.

I think he'll play Gabby up front with Hogan.

Well he hasn't got much choice other than play the Russian and he hasn't done that much.

Injured apparently. He's made his one cameo and now put back into storage

Pravda/People's Daily

Steve Bruce will be without five first-teamers for the clash with Brighton this weekend.

Mile Jedinak will not be available due to an ongoing groin problem.

Alan Hutton will be absent due to two broken ribs.

Gabriel Agbonlahor won’t be fit after going over on his ankle in training.

Andre Green and Rushian Hepburn-Murphy will also be absent on Sunday.

Both Young Lions have reoccurring hamstring issues.

I'd like to see Jack playing behind Hogan, and for a change try slipping balls down the channels for Hogan to run onto, rather than either lumping the ball at him from the back or slowly passing across the back until a full back gets forward and misplaces a cross.

Hoping we go out with a strong performance. Get us into the summer with a bit of hope Bruce can change so these players can play the exciting attack football they are capable of.

Is the correct answer!

Hogan is no classical No 9. Why the feck does Bruce and his "I-don't-do-tactics" treat him like one?
