It would need a fair sized goal swing but Bristol City could still drop so I doubt they'll take piss with their starting 11. That's assuming they lose to Brighton. But a 3 or 4 goal defeat today will definitely have them nervous.

Huddersfield are a set of tossers.  Resting the odd player before a cup game, fair enough, but to change 10?  Hope they get obliterated in the play offs.

Huddersfield?????
Come on. What are you doing, even mentioning them?
Why on earth should I give a F about Huddersfield?
I despair.

We should always play to win.
No crap about cheering for the other side or wearing their bloody shirts.
I don't care what any other team does. Just Villa to win.
God knows that's been difficult enough this season.

Let's hope Dean Smith plays his kids against Blackburn next week. What goes around comes around and all that.

I'd be much happier if Dean Smith rolled up at Bodymoor Heath next week in all honesty.

I can remember something similar happening with Southampton & Prtsmouth when one of them was playing Albion and the other being relegated. Honestly, no-one was throwing their hands up in horror at how 'small time' it was. People found it funny.

Sometimes we need to remember that we do this for fun, our lives and honour don't actually depend on it.

There were times today when I felt certain chants went to far in the 'supporting the opposition' stakes, but I was quite happy to have a bit of fun with it as there was nothing on it for us.

The thing that actually pissed me off, was as others have said, was the people who were most vociferous in their 'support' of Blackburn, were the same people who became most vociferous in their slamming of Villa once Blues started winning. If we wanted to mess Blues up, then by losing today we still prevented them from becoming safe today - so job done. That was either what you wanted or it wasn't.

FFS, Brighton messing-up means, what? We have to hope they beat us next week to stop Newcastle, the team we hate most after Blose, from winning the title? Where will this madness end?

I wasnt there yesterday but a mate text me and said the same thing. People cheering when we went a goal behind but booing at the end.

I saw a picture of one chap wearing a Blackburn shirt with Zola on the back. Banter or obssessed as they are?

I thought teams obliged to play more or less their strongest side if availableWeren't Wolves fined for making too many changes a few years back. It's unlikely that there strongest side would have lost to a shit Blues team playing with 10 men for most of the match

Huddersfield will get fined heavily for yesterday, can imagine Blackburn fans will hate them for eternity aswell if they go down. I hope Huddersfield get smashed in the play offs now.

My feeling exactly, Lou.
Having said that, I don't live in the Mids so get less local heat (Leeds fans are my problem!)

Really?
I think the dislike is all one way traffic from their end.

Exactly. I genuinely couldn't care less about Newcastle. They're a non-event.

After all this you watch Forest go down and Blackburn and Blose both stay up.
