Jesus, I think that I have been here for most of that 20 years! Certainly 18 of them. I was only thinking what ever happened to that Mac fella during the week! Congrats, Mac!

I started reading the forum when I was at uni in 98 so I reckon I'm at about the same.  I'd love to see, if it exists, a screenshot from the original site.

Congratulations and well done one and all who keep it running!
I've been here for 8 of them and that's gone by in the blink of an eye!

Echo all the other sentiments.  Pretty sure I've been using it for 18 of the 20 years, at least.

Well done to Mac, Dave and everybody involved. Its a grand site and it turns out, having looked at my profile, that I've spent just over 10 years on here! Mental how quick that time has gone.

Congratulations on reaching 20 - can I assume that this weekend next year we'll all go up town and get absolutely shitfaced in the Dome or Pagoda Park?  That is what all 21 year olds do, right?

Congratulations, Mac.

Someone else said it above, but what a vision you had back then and how refreshing H&V is, in the world of football fan sites.

Superb achievement.

Huge thanks from me go to you and the team who keep it going, as well. UTV!

Congratulations Mac,  once the novelty of the internet wore off H&V is one of just two sites I visit on a daily basis.  Heavens knows how many hours I have spent on here.

Many thanks to you and the others who make this such a wonderful site.

Hmmm, must have been around 2001 when I became a H&Ver.
It's been brilliant (and frustrating, amusing, uplifting, irritating, obsessional, informative, supportive, petty, outrageous, angered, sarcastic, triumphal, focussed, campaigning, international, broad-minded, divisive ...).
Know what I mean?
Thanks to all that made it thus.
