Adomah and Baker have been two of our better players this season. Can't understand why they've been dropped. Losing faith...

4-1-3-2 it appears. The best of the formations he's gone with. Let's hope it works.

Could be, or it could be 4-1-4-1 with BB and Kodjia out wide.

Hold on, does the OP have a decent track record on Match Threads?

Also, just read a stat that Newcastle have lost their last 11 Monday night games.  So, that will be broken tonight.

Can't understand why Baker has been dropped, he's got a good understanding with Chester IMO

As I said in the Barnsley post thread, Bakers long hoof lost possession and lead to the Barsnley penalty, 2 minutes later he did it again and Bruce went ape shit on the touchline at him.

That is 433 I reckon with Kodjia wide.

Well, I'm not fancying the lack of width. I think we're playing for a 1-0 defeat here to be honest. It's a bit negative. As inconsistent as they may be, our best hope of goals comes from Kodjia and Adomah, so it's frustrating to see Adomah dropped.

There's a big onus on Kodj and/or Hogan to work the channels.

3-0 win. Simples.

Shelvey called a bald bastard and both sent off for fighting. Clark to do an impression of being taken out by a sniper while handballing it for the insurance goal.

he has been fairly poor recently, well always to be honest

Elphick in ahead of him means we will be defending a lot deeper tonight though

maybe Lansbury will be playing off Hogan tonight

edit....I'll take a PM if one is going..

Umpteen million pounds spent and I reckon that maybe two of our players would get into a pretty dismal Newcastle side.

Amazing that surnames of 7 players on the bench start with only 3 different letters.
