it's a proper Steve Bruce side though
Workers, runners tough tacklers, no creativity anywhere,
I expect us try and stop them playing whilst hoping one of the forwards can run on to something and score

Can't understand why Baker has been dropped, he's got a good understanding with Chester IMO

he has been fairly poor recently, well always to be honest

Elphick in ahead of him means we will be defending a lot deeper tonight though

maybe Lansbury will be playing off Hogan tonight

edit....I'll take a PM if one is going..

Beckenbaker's distribution has been poor but a lot of that has been down to the lack of movement by players ahead of him and the opposition funnelling play to him.

He's fine at the aspects of the game that he's meant to be, certainly better than Mad Tom, whose distribution is no better and whose presence seems to negatively affect Chester

Good grief that team lacks any creativity and invention. Could be a long night. Please prove me wrong.

Difficult to see where the goals are coming from, as we aren't going up or down I'd have liked to see us setting up to get at them a bit more.

It certainly looks negative on paper.

Commentators talking about Villa needing to win to ease any relegation worries.

For fucks sake, that it has come to this.

Good to see Jedinak back but a bit weird to see Elphick instead of Baker.

So we are set up for the draw. I will take a dull nil nil. We need to stop the rot. Here's to ninety minutes of watching beige paint dry.
