Northants already on 71 after 4.3 overs. They have two of the fattest cricketers I've seen in years.

I think the mods should change your username to "Chris Jameson loves Twenty20".

Anyway, at least the Yorkshire result means it's in our own hands. As expected, those yokels from New Road did us no favours the other night, so it's win and go through, lose and go out. A tie/no result would probably be enough, and the Manchester weather looks pretty poor tomorrow so we might get away with that!

We get a home QF if we win and Derby fail to do so... but as Worcester will doubtless roll over for them, I won't get my hopes up about that prospect.

Yep, win or bust tomorrow night.

No Woakes either? Ffs why couldn't England release him for such  an important game? He's hardly played for 2 months and needs the practice!..... of course Buttler playing for Lancs!

Butler wasn't in the squad (13) chosen by England I guess.

Woakes should've played for England. An insult to him after what he's done for England over the last 18 months.

Don't think it would have been fair on Roland-Jones to lose his place, he'll be back but worth having another look at Roland-Jones again.

Pretty ludicrous that Woakes isn't allowed to play for the Bears or England. I doubt four overs is going to kill him.

Still, cruising to the Quarter Finals. We will be away because, as we all knew they would, Worcester have chucked it against Derby.

Hopefully our game will be on Wednesday or Thursday next week to avoid a clash with the two Villa games.
