Great win, waited a long time for that!

Sounds a strong bowling unit: Barker, Woakesy, Patel and the new Ryan Sidebottom.

Obviously he will want to be back in the England fold as soon as possible, but I want to be a bit selfish and hope England ask Woakesy to get a few more county championship games under is belt before he is recalled.

5 games left to go now isn't it?

Yeah. Need at least three wins. Four, probably.  At least we have a chance, even if it is still pretty negligible.

Yes 5 left now Tom. I reckon we need 3 wins to have a good chance of staying up, 2 wins would probably give us an outside chance, having Woakes available for a while would be a massive boost.

Part of me thinks relegation and a rebuild with younger players for a season in Div. 2 could be helpful though.

Shame Pears batsmen didn't show a little more application as the draw would have been nailed on if they'd made it to day 4.

With Hastings going home injured and the rest of the season being about red ball cricket and a possible promotion slot available then I hope we get an overseas batsman in for 6 weeks - would hope they are scouring the potential released list for any experienced seamers who they could get on loan as it is now Leach + a bunch of talented youngsters.

How about Tim Bresnan 6/19 plus a run out in a roses match.

Just watched the Roses rounders match. Great entertainment and Bresnan was brilliant.

Just seen Leaning's catch, incredible. Not proper cricket.

That catch is special.  Whatever else T20 has done it deserves credit for making moments like that much more common.  I love test cricket but having both teams going all out for every ball has, in my opinion, improved the value and standard of fielding massively in all forms.

Tough loss, but still in with a decent chance of getting into the QFs.  Stone was expensive, but good to see him back and amongst the wickets.

Talk that Morne Morkel is looking to play county cricket next year as a Kolpak and that the the Bears are interested.
