Well that's the likely outcome. 20-3 will become 44-7, will become 89 all out. We'll bat resolutely int he  nd innings and reach a promising 189-2, but the fall of the 3rd wicket will see us all out for 224.

Let's hope so, that will keep my team top of the table.

forgot about the scores...quick check before I go home - come on Warwicks...just back from lunch - I hope we're batting but at worse Essex 7 or 8 down. Here we go...

The sixth wicket will fall at about 4pm, they'll declare on 550, leaving them just enough of the day left to take three Bears wickets before we reach twenty runs.
Spooky.

On the one hand, the fact that Bell and Trott ate at the crease offers a sliver of hope, but yet another follow on is well on the cards.

I don't like the new rule they seem to have put in place this year that each match consists of three innings.

Good point. And we appear to be the most rigid adherents.

This season echoes Villa's under Remi Garde/ Eric Black! This is abysmal!

Has any other team started a season by losing by an innings in every completed game? We are truly woeful.

Was a good season for Worcs. Until June started.

Seemed to go wrong at time of Kohler-Cadmore issue, think at that time Fell needed to be taken out of the team but all of a sudden batting order was two short.  We'll see what today brings, will it be a collapse, bat out the day or go for it?

Positive start. Long way to go.
