We'll get hammered I'm afraid. 3-0.

Jawdees still carrying on like hormonal schoolgirls I see. Clowns.

We're gonna die up there.

But, I truly hope the shirtless ones have come up with a better riposte than their last slice of devastating repartee. "Glum in the Brum" was it? My sides still hurt.

Their "Whos the clowns now" attempt at Villa Park from last season as they pretty much confirmed their relegation with us was brilliant.

Will I watch it?   Definitely

Will I keep turning over during game because we're under the cosh?   Definitely

Will I keep refreshing the match thread on here to see who's saying what?  Definitely

Will my wife start a conversation about something irrelevant during the game?  Definitely

Will we win?  Probably not.......but in my head its saying "you might win, you never know this might be the turning point"

Do I think about the Villa too much?  Definitely, ask the wife.

A surprise draw?

Seeing as they scored away to Norwich (who play like a team, without a lot of money) in the 1st minute, if we do get a point, it will be a shock.

Here's hoping.....

I predict a rout.

5-1 to the stottie-gobblers.

We'll start with hope...but it will end with yet more misery and embarrassment.

I will follow our game whilst cheering Arsenal on at Sutton.

Ordinarily I would favour the non-league side but on the news that they have agreed a one off sponsorship with The S*n, I hope the Gunners fuckin' bury them.

Aww, did the nasty Villa fans laugh at you?

What is it with stripes and being sad obsessives?

Well, one pretty pathetic individual took time out from painting his Warhammer soldiers to make two banners to celebrate our relegation. Just like no other fan of a team ever done. Joined in ridiculing a relegated side, sure, but going to the effort of making two banners to do that? Aberrant behaviour if you ask me.

Re: obsessives, this is stoked by local media, your papers and ours love to drag it up because it gets clicks/sells papers.

Embarrasing, I thought you Geordies were big hard fellas?
Football fans in holding a grudge shocker. I'm sure Villa fans don't harbour a grudge with players, managers, pundits or teams... right?

Let's be honest here.  Whoever sent Newcastle down in 08/09 was always going to have a laugh.  It just happened to be us.

Also last year, we expected to be well beaten by you lot at Villa Park as we were shite.  The fact you didn't, coupled with Sunderland beating Chelsea, meant we got to laugh again.

It's nothing personal, it's just the fixture computer gave us a giggle.

As for the game, 2-0 to Newcastle.  As easy a home win as Newcastle will have all season.

A laugh? Sure, going to the bother of making banners? No.

Outside of local rivals I can't think of any club's fanbase going to the bother of all that childishness.

We relegated Cardiff in 13/14 and after a short burst of "Going Down" we were back to being concerned with the running of our own club. No banners to mock Cardiff, only to protest our owner.

The problem with you lot is you genuinly believed all that "Everybodies 2nd favourite club" media bollocks, you take yourselves way to seriously. 8 years on and you're still crying over a fucking banner.
