Interesting to see Steve Bruce hosting a debate about Steve Bruce.

Sidwell blaming the owners for not defining the style of play they want. WTF? Bellamy sees it, still backs Bruce but he sees the potential. He knows it's an easy club to get right.

Thanks Sidwell. Then let’s not hire a manager and let Sawiris and Edens pick the team

Sidwell yet another pundit who shows that he doesn’t actually understand the game he’s played for years.

I watched about 40 seconds of Sidwell spouting shite and had to turn it off.  To think they actually get paid to come out with utter drivel without any application of knowledge, intelligence, common sense.

Is it me? Or are all these 'pundits' stupid? Just saw Neville mounting a similar defence of Mourinho. Same situation: decent payers playing crap football

Good old Tony Cascarino sticking up for us again on Talksport this morning. He is always positive about Villa and particularly us fans. He was talking about his time with us and said how supportive the fans are, even when things aren't necessarily going well. He cited his own time at the club when he arrived as the record signing and he didn't score the goals he was expected to. He said the Villa fans were great with him and stuck by him.

No it's not you and yes they are incredibly stupid, Clive tyldesley, commentating on the same game i'm watching, I often turn over to search for the game I wanted to look at because he clearly is looking at something entirely different to me.

I don't know if it's the same at other clubs, cos frankly I couldn't give a monkey's about them, but the punditry establishment give off the impression that they think we want people to fail. We're the polar opposite of that. We're desperate for heroes.

Yep, the 'Villa fans are impossible to please' narrative is in full swing again. Even some of our former players have been known to spout this rubbish for a few quid and an appearance on Sky Sports News. They should consider that their shit performances would go down badly with fans at all clubs, not just ours. We're no different to anyone else - if anything I'd say we're a damn sight more patient than most.

I’ve been impressed with Rosenior. OK he is paid to know about the Championship, but it’s such a refreshing change to hear considered analysis rather than the usual nonsense. Tired of crap pundits saying, yes the football was crap, yes the squad is unbalanced and the results have been rubbish, but there’s stil nobody better than Mr 4 Promotions to get us up. Fuck off the lot of you.

You REALLY won’t want to see Shearers interview with some cnutish twat, both giving their considered opinion on Bruce.
Fucking lazy, opinionated shite, regurgitating the same crap based of their view of the league table and nothing else.

Fucking wankers.

I'm not even going to look at that Shearer thing. All I can go on is the evidence of my own eyes, week after week.

Well, it's still only just into October, there'll undoubtedly be an opportunity arise soon for him to prove us wrong.

A bit like the furore from when we ungratefully hounded out Lambert, McLeish, Sherwood, I'm sure that he'll continue his level of recent success in future roles.

Shearer is big mates with Bruce isn't he?  Hardly going to be impartial.
