Well as far as we know he still as there's yet to be anything more credible than "Sky Sports sources".

It's all over Facebook and Twatter so it must be true.

It was enough for some plum to get excited and change the title before we know if it's true or not  :P :-*

 Bloody snowflake.

5 Live didn't mention anything in their 4.30pm bulletin.

Due to constraits 5 live often slow on uptake and would wait on official line.

However these current days news be it online or other broadcasts are things quicker than bbc

It doesn't matter what it is - if it's thrown at someone and can cause harm, which this obviously can, it's a missile and throwing it is an offence. Good luck to anyone going Not Guilty on that one.

larf. well maybe if i was pelting it at someone from point blank range it could, or dropped if off the top of a 30 story building but lobbing it from the crowd? I doubt it.  I don't think they had cabbages in mind when they brought that rule in and if the lethal properties of root based vegetables were recognised, groups of cabbage-kitted-up hooiligans would have discovered it back in the 70's and 80's.

Football Offences Act 1991, Section 2.
Throwing of missiles.

It is an offence for a person at a designated football match to throw ANYTHING at or towards—
(a)the playing area, or any area adjacent to the playing area to which spectators are not generally admitted, or

(b)any area in which spectators or other persons are or may be present,

without lawful authority or lawful excuse (which shall be for him to prove)

How much clearer does it need to be made for you!! If the person is identified he/she will be found guilty!

Everyone is just running with the Sky Sports story. It may be true but apart from the ever reliable "Sky Sports sources" who never ever get anything wrong, there's sadly no actual evidence yet that he's gone.

Thierry Henry has been installed as the bookmakers’ favourite to replace Bruce as Villa boss.

Villa fan Dean Smith is among the early frontrunners while former boss Martin O’Neill is at 16s.

Full odds

Thierry Henry 5/2 (fav)

Sam Allardyce 3/1

Dean Smith 6/1

Mick McCarthy 6/1

Alan Pardew 8/1

Nigel Pearson 10/1

Carlos Carvalhal 11/1

Martin O’Neill 16/1

meh, Free the Cabbage Throwing One i say and a general amnesty on all vegetable related crime to celebrate fistface going.
