Life huh. You want something to happen, then it finally happens and you move straight onto worrying about the next thing.

I'm quite fearful about who's next.

yep, you can bet fat sam and moyes will be talking to their agents tonight. For the love of god Villa - DON'T DO IT AGAIN

My terrifying thoughts exactly.

I'm actually quite optimistic this time around. I think the new owners know what they're doing (well, more so that Ellis, Lerner or Xia did).  Roll-on the good (well, better at least) times.

But, Russell, we're Villa. You have...*met* us, right?

Whoever flung the cabbage should be punished with a free season ticket for the next 3 years.

Yep. I always say, a manager can survive being hated by the fans, but once that turns to ridicule he's gone.

If whelan would have scored, I genuinely think Bruce would still be there

Right let’s move forward. He did a terrible job this season, deserved to go but I hope he can now get away from all this and deal with the horrible time he’s been through personally in the last year.

Well as far as we know he still as there's yet to be anything more credible than "Sky Sports sources".

I'd like to thank him for his efforts. I might be in the minority here but all I would say is that he didn't quite get to where we needed to be and it was only a matter of time really after Sheffield United before he was sacked. You could see he was never going to get it back from there. We gradually climbed to a peak by Wolves at home but have slid back down the other side since, and are back where we started really in terms of football quality and league position but the squad is better than when he took over, apart from the lack of centre backs.

You’ve given me the same feeling I got at half time last night when my nephew reminded us, amid the optimistic chatter, that we only ever manage one decent half in a game.
