I just watched the itv coverage of the presser and Bruce the Genius states that all of our bad results this season are due to individual player errors and there's nothing he can do to prevent them. He just keeps making stuff up, I don't know how he keeps a straight face.

His sacking is negligently overdue.

He's been trotting out that kind of garbage for years but for some reason not one journo has had the balls to call him out on it. Quite bizzare really. It's almost like he's using some Derren Brown type mind control over the spineless fuckers.

Utterly shocked myself, we must be the only team in the whole of the UK that puts up with this kind of crap. The teams in place, defeat or even a draw today has to mean he's sacked, the fans are not going to tolerate much more of this, not Villa.

While not always the case in this specific situation the word "wanker" really is precise and all encompassing when it comes to describing Bruce.

I think that is the fundamental issue. None of the "journalists" there capable of holding him to account for it. "We are far too open", agreed 100% with him.

But part of the reason for that was that he went into the season with Jedinak as first choice centre back. Replacing Terry had to be priority one but he brought into two wingers and a striker instead. The front three he brought in don't appear the types to put a graft in either. This is in marked contrast to the likes of Snodgrass, Grabban and Hogan.
