I defended him after the first two games because of the results. But I turned, and today, having witnessed first hand just how dire we are, if we don't act now another season has gone.

No doubt he'll say he didn't have Abraham and Bolassie, this is the Championship, we knew it would be tough etc etc, but this absolute turgid shite is completely unacceptable.

Talking about losing players to the International break, he said "we'll see what happens". Just fills me with confidence that does.

They have to act now or it'll be another season wasted.

Exactly this, Ger. What's so annoying is it's so bloody predictable.

Yep it’s not just the defeat, it’s the fact it relates to very clear flaws that haven’t been addressed.

I assume he’ll say he’s taking responsibility, but actually deflect it onto others again.

Yep. Everyone's fault but his.  That indifference to his responsibilities and understanding as to where the buck ultimately stops should be enough to see him sacked. Hopefully.

He has just alluded to the fact that some players weren't fit but wanted to play. I'm sure they're  bowled over by his loyalty ! He is too precious to take any criticism , but has an annoying trait of slyly pushing it onto the players.

Yup. That said, I'm still glad they didn't pull the trigger when they bought the club. At least now we've someone from a football background that can take charge of finding the replacement, rather than a blind punt that would have been henry.

Looks to me like Bruce didn't expect to still be manager this season. Preparations seem half arsed.

Yeah but they've bought a Maserati and hired Mr Magoo to drive it.

He was in Portugal for weeks, playing golf!

They're not gonna sack now. It's too embarrassing to do that a day after spending money bringing players in. He'll get the International break to try and sort out the shambles or else. Looking at the fixtures coming up, luck may just save him again.

That’s the problem, he’ll limp on again. They’re not going to sack him.
