I don't expect him to be sacked.

He won’t be but he absolutely should be.

The debate is over, nan hair is shit, this is another wasted year. We were demolished, it's another one of Spud heads winless run's. We've had a piss easy start and look utterly unconvincing, there is nothing to suggest we will get promoted this year, we look miles off the pace.

Away crowd just turned.

About time, no.

On avtv, it just looks like the players are jogging around. Is that the case in the flesh, Ads?

We didn't lay a glove on them. We were just absolutely devoid of anything. Utterly embarrassing.

Man City's modern empire began with a bang this day ten years ago when they went from struggling to pay player's wages to being bought by a Sheikh and buying Robinho as a statement of intent.

Can we do the same on a smaller scale by binning the Stegosaurus this evening? We'll even be patient for our turn to winning the league by 19 points in 2028.

Another month of him at least i'm afraid. Massive fuck up by the owners keeping him on, now compounded by having a team full of his new signings. Everyone fucks up but no-one want's their nose rubbed in it. They'll bin him when its past the point of no return to save embarrassment.

Has he spoken yet? Whose fault is it today? Is he flabbergasted again?

He should have gone when the club was sold.  Stupid prevarication.

For a guy who's an ex defender, is a defensive manager, to leave us so in the lurch regarding the back four is unforgiveable, he's played average players out of position for weeks and it has finally caught up with him and us.  It's only 6 games, but to only have 9 points from a very generous set of fixtures is just average and that sums him up, he is just average and we as a club deserve far better and with our wage bill and money spent on loans, the new over lords will demand it.

With the club in massive turmoil, the summer wasn’t the right time and I thought we’d be solid and in touch with the top 2.  That is now looking unlikely.  If they’re going to do it, doing it now could be the right move, unless they are prepared to write another season off.  Brendan Rodgers would be my choice of the semi-realistic hypothetic candidates because his teams have a playing identity at least.  That we haven’t signed a centre half is bizarre.  I can  only think they had one lined up which went tits up

I was up for giving him more time but he’s lost the fans and by the sounds of it dressing room he got to go, trouble is he’s left the next manager with no defense and can’t do nothing about it till jan. we’re fucked

Maybe we can send Bruce out on loan until he's ready for real football.

Sacking a manager a week before the season wouldn’t have been good. Sacking him on May 26th would have been correct, but Xia was too busy panicking.

As I said in the match thread, today is the final duck in the row for the owners to act: indifferent league form, humiliating cup exit, new CEO, international break.  I'll be furious if there isn't a new man in charge when we step out at Blackburn.  If there isn't, then any further statements of intent from the new owners and/or CEO is simply the hot air we've heard before.
