we had a manager named bruce
his tactics were awfully obtuse
no defence or midfield
to each game we'd yield
so got rid,'cos he was no use.

Come in my Bruce your time is up.

You have untill the end of September to clear out your locker and say your goodbyes.

He will start to lose the dressing room now and that's curtains for him. Played like shit all season bar 45 mins against Brentford. There is absolutely no way he's here come October

I don't know. Can anyone honestly see them sacking him? He's unbeaten in the league til now (playing shit, but the facts don't lie) and he seems expert at accentuating his positives and saving himself when the odds are stacked against him (see the Henry saga).

I think he's chucked his own players under the bus once too often.

I know what you mean but you can remaining unbeaten all season means nothing. You can draw 38 games a season in the prem go on about how you are invincibles but still get relegated on 38 points.
Point matter not unbeaten runs and we have a woeful tally considering the games we have had.

Also getting shown up by Yeovil and burton didn't help him either

They are all mates. Just because the players were mainly back ups vs Burton doesn’t mean the criticism isn’t heard by the others. They’ve given up on him as shown by today’s debacle

You don't accumulate the kind of wealth these guys have got by not recognising when somebody is out of their depth and acting accordingly.

About time, no.

On avtv, it just looks like the players are jogging around. Is that the case in the flesh, Ads?

Depends which facts they choose.

As of this moment, we haven't won for the last five games and are 10th in the league already 5 points off the leaders.

Purslow spent time working with and ditching Benitez so he's used to managers able to blow their own trumpet and seeing through them.
