Nuno at the Dogheads and Bielsa at Leeds prove that you don’t HAVE to have knowledge and experience of this division to play attractive, winning football.

You could add Wagner at Huddersfield and Jokanovic at Fulham to that list too. Bruce is becoming yesterday’s man. The game has evolved but he hasn’t.

Different ways to play the game and be .

It's up to owners if they want the English old school with Bruce and his coaches or something more worldy and developed.

Bruce and coaching team 40 yo Clemence  to mid late  50s rest of them could help themselves by developing own way but I feel they are reared and have set philosophy of his to run manage and coach these players and how much of it is limited but passable

Pulis  and Warnock get by on team spirit and organisation
Size of players and athletic model.

The technics are a secondary issue .

Bruce loves getting basics right and talks about basics .
Good honest Pro is what he's in for rather than a good honest developing pro who can read the game and learn new ways..

This man and his coaching team are too far gone and the few new things he would try are not inspiring or original .

We have made a solid start to the season - 3 wins 3 draws including the cup - and sit 4th only 4 points off top which compares well with last season at this stage when I think we were 10 points off top. Also I think it's far too early to say Leeds and Boro will run away with it that's just crap.

However there is a sense that Bruce has taken us as far as he can and I thank him for his efforts, but with this squad we should be hammering dross like Reading and Ipswich, he doesn't get the very best out of what's available. Trouble is who could come in at this stage as I don't see any names jumping out !?

Why would we want to wind one another up on here?

With McGinn, Grealish, El Ghazi (albeit based on limited viewing!), Bolasie and Kod we should be battering most of the teams in this league. If the manager can’t get the best out of them soon he’ll have to go.

Oh right, I understand now.

Sorry, it's been a long hot day here.

Of course, people wind each other up. Though, from a personal viewpoint, I think it's through difference of opinion, rather than on purpose.

1-0 up at home against relegation bound Reading. Playing the whole game with Kodja isolated up top. He takes him off and brings on a fucking full back! I'm sure that was meant as two fingers up to his critics. Woeful decision. Woeful performance. Woeful management bordering on petty. The new owners in the stands. Anyone would think he was asking to be fired and collect a huge payoff.
