TBH with all the upheaval in the summer I never expected top 2. The early wins didn't fool me.

Boro are basically us last season so they'll be top 2 I think. Leeds look very good so far although of course they could always blow up.

I'd be happy with play offs tbh although of course that's not a guarentee as we saw last year.

Always felt SB would get first 15-20 games to steady things and then owners will make a change. It could actually happen when a new CEO arrives as they usually like to make a statement soon on arrival.

All the up heavel? Being skint for a few weeks? We were luckily saved by the new investors, but please don’t associate those few weeks of uncertainty with the fact that our team can’t stroke five passes together.

He’s been our manager for two years and we haven’t improved in the slightest despite having shit loads of players that the majority were brought in by him

Fuck him off before another year is wasted.

Sitting fourth, still unbeaten, no-one running away with it and we’ve dropped some important points.

Bruce out?

Have you learnt nothing from the past two years?

It was a question. Personally I see the recent trait of passing the ball through defense to midfield as encouraging signs. Yes he’s frustrating with his neg ferret attitude towards game management but the bullet hasn’t been loaded in my rifle.

Yes we could start to loose to our rivals, but he does tend to get results against better teams.

Hopefully I won’t be Bruce out! (Again, cus most of us have been in and out over the months) Anytime soon because it will mean we have started to drop out of contention.

It seems common cause that he is a nice guy, why don't we move him sideways and appoint him as manager of the Holte Pub.

Brilliant!
Landlord, This beer is off.
“ that’ll be the cellar for yer”
That made me chuckle CL - nice one

The simple truth is that Bruce makes us less than the sum of our parts.

Now
Christmas
End of Season

Can we get an option that is sooner than now and allows for time travel?

I think we’ve seen what we’re only ever going to get with Bruce over the past two years. Ponderous attacking, gifting games to teams who really shouldn’t be getting anything from us, players hopelessly played out of position, boom and bust beating teams handsomely only to struggle to get anything from subsequent games, signing players for good money only to discover that they’re never going to fit into the Bruce way.
If this is all we’re ever going to get then I think he should go. Not with malice, but with an appreciation that it’s not working and that both parties deserve to try something different.

Would now say that the clock is ticking for probably the first time in his tenure.  SB needs to get this right in the next few weeks otherwise some peoples wishes will come true.

I am still firmly on the fence.  Show and prove to be there is a better option.

Should have been sacked at the end of last season, but kept his job due to the short time left before the start of the season when the new owners came in.

He is not doing well and needs to go now, but be quickly replaced. We don't need weeks of fannying around looking for a replacement whilst his numpty mates on the coaching staff are in charge. I hope the owners are already sounding out his replacement.

Could Henry have been any worse? Doubt it, but he surely might have been better. Time to roll the dice.

Catch 22, isn't it? He won't go unless we're on a much worse run than we are, yet to do so would put us further back than we can afford to be.

It occurred to me this evening that there was talk of Bruce getting the Leeds job when we were on our uppers. If only.

We are in the might scrape the play offs, and he will fuck that up again or get someone in to try for more.
I think pretty much any manager would get that squad in the play offs.

It’s not about just this season though Frank. Show me where we have improved significantly under Bruce. I seriously cannot see any real improvement under him.
