Sitting fourth, still unbeaten, no-one running away with it and we’ve dropped some important points.

Bruce out?

Have you learnt nothing from the past two years?

It was a question. Personally I see the recent trait of passing the ball through defense to midfield as encouraging signs. Yes he’s frustrating with his neg ferret attitude towards game management but the bullet hasn’t been loaded in my rifle.

Yes we could start to loose to our rivals, but he does tend to get results against better teams.

Hopefully I won’t be Bruce out! (Again, cus most of us have been in and out over the months) Anytime soon because it will mean we have started to drop out of contention.

TBH with all the upheaval in the summer I never expected top 2. The early wins didn't fool me.

Boro are basically us last season so they'll be top 2 I think. Leeds look very good so far although of course they could always blow up.

I'd be happy with play offs tbh although of course that's not a guarentee as we saw last year.

Always felt SB would get first 15-20 games to steady things and then owners will make a change. It could actually happen when a new CEO arrives as they usually like to make a statement soon on arrival.

The whole thing is a house of cards. You know it’s going to collapse sooner rather than later. Two massive chances fucking blown against average opponents at home. Now we will try and win at Sheff Utd. FFS. So done with Bruce

Exactly. He's not up to the job, at least the job we require. It's pointless getting all worked up about him, he'll be gone soon. The only question I have is how many points will be behind the top two when he's booted out.

He's assembled a good squad, we just need to find somebody that knows how to use it.
I said before the season started that i saw bruce as no more than a caretaker and there's been nothing since to make me change my mind. Quite the opposite in fact.

The most appalling thing is that this is his third season and yet we have no style of play and there is a complete lack of coaching other than keep your shape. He sets up every week to not lose and hope there is a moment of individual brilliance or a set piece and his back four can then keep a clean sheet. His attacking philosophy is one up front and they are often completely isolated (see play off final) and the build up is to get it wide and get a cross in. When do you see runners from midfield playing little one twos off the front man, when do you see runners going beyond the center forward, almost never.

The fact is he has only ever managed clubs that are plucky underdogs and has always played this way and sadly is too old to change his ways. He will be gone by mid-October. and I will personally fly over from Bermuda to drive him anywhere he wants to go as long as its not at B6.

Once again Bruce is proving to be just about adequate painfully adequate manager. Fans are left in a petmanent dilemma with a win or two here and there and mediocrity everywhere else. He has never won promotion in a high performing season he basically succeeds to when there are lot of mediocre teams around the top. We are very very stupid to expect anything better.

It seems common cause that he is a nice guy, why don't we move him sideways and appoint him as manager of the Holte Pub.

Brilliant!

CEO first, new manager second.

Agreed. We can’t expect the new investors/owners to make such a big decision so early on. We need a CEO who knows the bloody score.
