If on boarding a plane you have a choice of two pilots. One who has flown many times before and has the best record in the company or one who has never flown before but has a great record as a steward. Who would you choose ?? I rest my case. Support Bruce he has turned us into a respected club after we were on the verge of going into League one and beyond …..

I'd put Henry down more as a co-pilot with no hours in the captain's seat.  Bruce is more a WW1 flying ace being asked to fly an Airbus.

What a daft  analogy.
They both know how to fly a plane, or manage a team. One has bags of experience and is a failure. The other has less experience and different ideas.
We were never on the verge of league 1.

But he cant adapt to the new technology in the cockpit and has unfortunately landed the plane at the incorrect destination on his previous two flights.

I view Henry as a risk in that with him (or virtually anyone else), we might, possibly, definitely not guaranteed, go up. Stick with Bruce, and we won't.

Imo.

So both your points are wrong on this `daft analogy`
Henry dont have less experience as a manager. He has no experience.
And we were third from bottom when Bruce took over. And Bruce who is the most successful manager in promoting championship teams is a `failure`Have a rethink .....

You might want to have a rethink about the last two seasons. Most expensive squad the league's ever seen. Failure.

There are a couple of players that might just thrive under a different approach to the game. Hogan and McCormack were both prolific before coming to Villa under footballing managers.

People stop badly quoting I don't know to whom to be bitchy.

As to Bruce, he's in this odd position where, even though he could feel aggrieved at being sacked, nor should he be surprised.

Odd isn't it.

I still reckon he will be given time tomorrow and the Henry thing is a flight of fancy from the press.

Stick with the plane analogy, last season we had a brand new, state of the art plane but a captain who was scared that every cloud looked like a storm so we landed 2 hours late.

We're now expecting the same captain to fly the same route but with in a plane with loads of the features removed and he hasn't changed his opinion on the clouds. The alternative is a pilot who's never flown the route and has only recently qualified. With the former it's safe to say we'll be late again but will land 'there or thereabouts' in the country we were aiming for. The other pilot might have problems or he might arrive on time.

If you've paid a fortune for the ticket and can't afford to be late which pilot do you want? The one who might arrive on the time but is a risk or the one who you're fairly sure will be late?
