There was a bit in the statement about the management looking to strengthen and all being on board with the new guys?

This bit......

"The Club’s management remain focused on strengthening the squad and are fully aligned with the new investors who are supportive of their ambitions."

So maybe he's safe for now....

the fact is no one individual can guarantee you promotion. Bruce looked a good historic bet as did Warnock. The latter won - but you just get the feeling that if he had been with us last season he wouldn't have done.

Look at most of the teams who have gone up to the PL and done well. Mostly younger but all progressive managers who have a defined style of play and get the players in accordingly.  Howe, Hughton, Wagner and Dyche is the sort of manager we should be attracting.

FT says that financial details of the transaction have not been revealed, but a person close to the deal said NSWE would take a 55 per cent stake in the club, effectively taking over as the club’s owner from Tony Xia.

I want us to be ruthless in wanting success. The Bucks have become a very good basketball team in the past few years. I want our owners to be embrace stability only when it is going well. Bruce should be concerned.

This. I also wander where would be if Lerner had moved MON after 3/4 years since hindsight shows we’d reached a limit then.

Yup. Getting our feet under the table in the second division isn't stability, it's stagnation.

We're suddenly a lot more attractive to potential managers than we were yesterday, that's for sure.

I wonder if Martinez would fancy a shot now? And could we see the return of the beast?

Can’t see a new manager coming in right now.

Think the new guys will see where we are in December and make a call.

Step forward Alan Curbishley. Summer change or never.
