Steve Bruce is a very nice man; That buys him favour for his floundering, Me, if were promoted would off him, go get FSW. ITS THE ONLY WAY I TELL YA.

If we don't get promoted spell it out to him Christmas (top and playing like we mean it) or its the work ouse.

Wasn't that the plan this time last year?

I hope Wenger resigning doesn't unsettle Bruce coming up to the play-offs!

Who wants to tell Wenger that we wouldn't kick up a fuss if he finished 6th in the Prem two seasons running...

The thought of another season with Bruce is bad enough but the idea of looking for a replacement mid-season is worse. We may as well save time and appoint Mick McCarthy next month because that's who we'll end up with in December.

Honestly think we should start afresh in the summer if we don't go up and look to bring in someone who is more suited to working with the kind of budget we will be operating on.  It would be harsh to sack him if he took us up, but I think there would be a legitimate case to do exactly that.

I don't think there's any prospect of him dropping to the Championship.  He will get better offers if he wants them.

Scoof, "we'll be premier" August , and I know that sounds ungrateful on Steve but "if" we do go up I don't want to play "steves chaos theory tactics"
