Mickey Quinn scored well over 200 goals in the league, and he was shite.

Jimmy Greaves was the prototype "slow" "lazy" "selfish" "overrated" "too small" "can't head the ball" devastatingly clinical goal scorer of his generation.

Sounds more like moaning for the sake of it.

No worries Dave, don't pull a muscle trying to keep up with the conversation.

You were gone for a while. Why did you come back? Every conversation you are involved is contentious.

Don't worry. I only pull a muscle when I try to smile.

When you're handing back change you mean!

Was that you by the way selling on the Trinity Road last night? I'd have asked at the time like, but it would be a bit weird saying I'm some random off the web, are you billionaire media tycoon Dave Woodhall?

Just like jimmy Greaves you had similar players in Allan Clarke, Gary Lineker.
Their respective teams played the game  to suit their goal scoring talents.

Could have sworn I saw him on the way out, selling up towards the flyover near where Percy used to sell. I was going to stop and say hello but wanted to rush back to the motor and get home.

I can't go anywhere...

I have to say, leaning against a lampost, holding a large bundle of magazines, shouting "Heroes & Villains, Villa Fanzine" half gave the game away.

It was the strong Brummie accent that made me think it was him.

He clearly had his car parked that way then. Pre match, he wouldn't leave "away coach park corner".

Got a bit lost with the thread and thought Jimmy Greaves had fallen on hard times.
