Let's stop talking bollocks about luck, as if it is even something that exists.

We've won 20 games, the 3rd highest in the league and we've scored 60 odd goals, the 3rd highest in the league. We are where we deserve to be.

Fucking luck.

Luck is the confluence of opportunity and preparation, as an English rugger bugger eloquently expressed today on my radio receiver. Unfortunately for him, Ireland fucked them royally. But that is by the way, I concur. Even so.

How about we appoint someone who plays like the Wolves manager rather than Warnock? They seem to have done better.

Because if we don't go up we will need a Warnock who can get a team up with hardly any money ..

You're talking shite. It bears repeating.

Where was your I used to go in the 70s, I wouldn't pay to watch this shite, I love being a faddy Scouser routine after we smashed the Dingles. Bore off.

Have you been spiked?

It may not be luck, but winning promotion because one player blasts the ball into the net from 25 yards... up to you how you define it.

I hope we have the luck/fortune/skill on the day, because as a team we've failed over a season. The managers fault.

Whether we win promotion or not is another question entirely.

Writing off 20 wins to an imaginary force is nonsense. Maybe I didn't salute enough magpies going through Wigan today. Maybe we didn't prey to Jesus for his Devine will enough? Maybe Fortuna is an entirely made up concept.

Are you Eric Cantona in disguise?

You diss the Jezuweets at your peril bro. I have of a friend of friend who accused them of casuistry using ruthless logic and now is in an asylum repenting at HM's leisure. They are madder than Boris J and twice as stupid.

If we fail to get up this season then we have to replace Bruce with Warnock. That should have been the appointment instead of Di Matteo. You will get the usual “Don’t Luke his football” comments but there are two things to consider, first being that he can only work with what he has (at Villa he would have better players) and secondly we need to get out this division! We will end up stuck down here. The football has been crap enough for years, one bad year to get up won’t make a bit of difference.

Not one single person would of called for Warrnock at the start of last season or this season.
I did.

So did I. I don't like the man but I think he'd be good for getting us up by tinkering rather than spunking money. It still rankles me a bit that Bruce's best players are largely the ones bought by RDM.

And you were not the only two so disposed, although I was not among your number.

Both he and Bruce rely on a well worn methodology, but there seems to be more flexibility in Colin's method. In particular, he has a fast brain which belies his gormless looks.

I really don't see the point of getting rid of one manager known for his rather insipid football but  "guaranteed" to get us up, for next season's new improved extra-guaranteed, extended warranty version. My feeling is the likes of Bruce and Warnock are successful at certain types of clubs where the size and lack of  historical success allows them to operate with no baggage and no expectation. Certainly, the only traditionally big sized clubs either have managed hasn't ended well

Why would Colin Wanker get Cardiff promoted then leave to join us in the championship at a time where FFP may hit us?

It is very irritating, isn't it.

I was just starting to slightly warm to Bruce..just a little bit.

But this week. Fucking hell.

I think it's a case of players giving their all for the Wolves game and not being prepared correctly for what should have been an easier task. It isn't as if Bruce doesn't have options and they should have been used with two or three being rested on the subs bench. What does he do for the next game pick the same formation again.
