Agreed. Bruce has many flaws and I want him gone, but he is a decent enough man & competent football manager who deserves some respect. Eric Black deserves nothing but utter contempt from Villa fans for managing to make an awful situation far, far worse.

Delighted with the win. I've no idea how we played overall but when you go through a blip like we have done, a win can pick you back up and do the confidence the world of good and hopefully it will. Onwards and Upwards as they say.

No more - he has shamefully underperformed relative to resources available.

There is no reason for us to be 7 points off automatic and no reason for us to below Cardiff, Bristol City and Sheffield United. We are 21 points above the bottom club and 17 off the top.

We play largely awful football and have a lot of old players on the books with zero sell on value, we are short in terms of CB quality and have no cohesion in midfield. This is down to coaching negligence.
