I have issues with how we have played at times under Bruce and Saturday's performance and was result was poor.  But no, our form has been strong overall this season, we are in the race for promotion, and currently sit quite pretty in the play-off places.  I think he's here for the season now, and deserves that time to try and get us up.  If he doesn't then we can return to this debate then.

If we don't get promoted there won't be a debate to be had as he won't be here.

My point was the people moaning about Bruce would be moaning about Rowett as thwyre cut from the same cloth.

Not seen a lot of Rowett's teams but are they really that bad?

Loaded comments passively ignored...

They're workman like with a smattering of quality going forwards. We'll organised and tough to breakdown defensively.

They're a carbon copy of the Noses under him.

Cheers. They sound very much like us too. Looking at the table, there' not much to split the two sides; they've scored 4 more than us but conceded 3 more. Sounds like one to ignore in the future.

I just hope Cardiff start to fall away soon and we can take advantage and catch them over the Christmas and the New Year. Warnock is a wily old dog though, they were poor last night, but still came away with something.

My uncle is a die hard nose, but he didn't rate Rowett. Ok he appreciated the good job he did but he said the football was boring and if plan A wasn't working then there was nothing else. He couldn't read a game and react to changes etc

Sounds familiar (not Bruce specifically but our last few managers).

Some things unite us and Blues over the years :)

The noses look back nostalgically now on the good old days under Rowett when they at least had a 'Plan A.'

I haven't seen Burnley since we dropped so I have no idea. Have they been playing well or just got some lucky hoofball results? That is not a loaded question, I genuinely don't know.

Dyche makes the best of what he has. It’s a great quality. There’s nothing lucky about being 4th in the PL table after 17 games. It’s just very impressive.

You're right but a goal difference of +4 suggests it's not born out of entertaining footy.

They've been very good for a few seasons now under Dyche.  He's a brilliant manager.  I honestly think it's his voice holding him back from a job with one of the big 5 or 6 clubs!
